If you're a fan of the Scandinavian knitting style and you have a young person to knit for, you might be pleased to hear that Jorid Linvik has released the Big Book of Knits for Kids. I'd have loved the pony design on a hat or mittens when I was a kid.

I have to admit when I first saw the title of Adorable Fruits and Vegetables to Crochet, I rolled my eyes at the idea. But when I opened the book, the first thing I saw was a pear so perfect I had to double-check it was really crocheted. It's funny how quickly I went from thinking there's no way I'd want this book to having to hold myself back from crocheting an entire grocery store.
