For as long as I can remember I've been annoyed that my left-leaning decreases don't behave nicely. I want them to be as neat and tidy as their right-leaning sibling. Many internet searches and a large pile of triangular swatches later, I've finally found the decrease for me.

A neat left-leaning decrease: Slip-Twist-Turn
Left-leaning decreases often look messy, especially when you're knitting with a smooth yarn in stockinette stitch.
Instead of the neat, orderly line formed from a series of right-leaning K2Tog decreases, the left-leaning SSK is big and loopy and doesn't line up with the stitches above and below. But there are things you can do to tidy them up.
